Guigal Côte-Rôtie Château d'Ampuis

除了La Mouline、La Turque和La Landonne三款被暱稱為LaLa’s的頂尖佳釀之外，從Guigal的自有葡萄園還生產唯一另一款的Côte-Rôtie-Côte-Rôtie Château d'Ampuis。Château d'Ampuis是Guigal總部所在，這座古堡位於Ampuis村，從11世紀奠基之後，持續施工了約200年才完成，就矗立在隆河河畔，是Côte-Rôtie產區中最雄偉的地標。Guigal莊主Marcel Guigal在1995年有幸購入，由於Château d'Ampuis已經被法國政府劃定為歷史古蹟，因此購入後，在Marcel Guigal的支持下，由著名的古蹟維護建築師Jean-Gabriel Mortamet帶領百人團隊，耗時16年，才完成整個Château d'Ampuis的整修工作，讓Château d'Ampuis恢復到昔日最耀眼的光彩，恰如其份地與Guigal酒莊的盛名相互輝映。

當然，除了購入Château d'Ampuis之外，1995年對Marcel Guigal也有另一個重要的意義，那就是他剛滿20歲的兒子Philippe，第一次加入釀酒團隊，完成他第一次真正的採收工作。在這麼別具特殊意義的年份中，Marcel Guigal推出的他規劃已久第一個年份的Côte-Rôtie Château d'Ampuis，有別於三款LaLa’s，Côte-Rôtie Château d'Ampuis是採用傳統的混釀工藝，混和了酒莊位於Côte-Rôtie中Côte Blonde 和Côte Brune的六塊最佳葡萄園(後加入了La Viria，現為七塊。P.S. La Viria品質極優異，很有可能在未來出產單一園，成為第四款的LaLa’s)，以約93~97%的Syrah混釀小比例的Viognier，平均樹齡達50年以上，發酵之後，並在全新橡木桶中培醞約38個月而成。除了這麼高規格的生產釀造過程之外，酒標能冠上Château d'Ampuis也是下了一番苦功夫，這個史無前例的做法，讓Marcel Guigal耗盡許多心思，旁徵博引，從少數的古文件紀錄中找到證據，才終於獲得法國政府的核准，讓這款代表Guigal另一個里程碑的旗艦酒款，得以正式命名為Côte-Rôtie Château d'Ampuis，酒標上同時繪製上整修後古堡的美麗倩影。

Cassis, licorice, smoked meats, graphite and peppery spice all emerge from this beautifully concentrated, full-bodied, seamless Côte-Rôtie that has building, ripe tannin, terrific purity and a blockbuster finish.
